At Kota College of Pharmacy, ragging is strictly prohibited in any form. The college follows the rules and guidelines of the Honourable Supreme Court of India and the Government of India to ensure a safe, respectful, and healthy environment for all students.
What is Ragging?
Ragging means any behaviour that causes physical or mental harm, fear, embarrassment, or pressure to a student. It also includes teasing, forcing tasks, or any unwanted interaction that affects dignity.
Strict Rules against Ragging
- Ragging in any form inside or outside the college campus is strictly not allowed.
- No student is allowed to harass, tease, threaten, or misbehave with any other student.
- Seniors must treat juniors with respect and help them adjust in the college environment.
- Any student involved in ragging will face strict disciplinary action as per law.
Punishment for Ragging (As per Law)
If any student is found guilty of ragging, action may include:
- Immediate suspension or expulsion from the college
- Cancellation of admission
- Fine or penalty as per rules
- Police case and legal action under government laws
- Debarment from appearing in examinations
Reporting Ragging
- Students can report any ragging incident to faculty members, Anti-Ragging Committee, or college authorities.
- Complaints will be treated seriously and kept confidential.
- Immediate action will be taken against the accused.
Anti-Ragging Committee
The college has a dedicated Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad to:
- Monitor student behaviour
- Prevent any ragging activity
- Take quick action on complaints

Strict Rules in the College
- Any form of sexual harassment is strictly prohibited inside or outside the campus.
- All students, staff, and visitors must maintain respectful behaviour at all times.
- No one is allowed to make others feel unsafe, uncomfortable, or disrespected.
- Use of mobile phones or social media to harass or disturb others is strictly not allowed.
Complaints and Reporting
- Any student or staff member facing harassment can report it without fear.
- Complaints can be submitted to the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) or college authorities.
- All complaints will be handled seriously, confidentially, and fairly.
- Immediate action will be taken after investigation.

- Receive and investigate complaints

- Provide support and protection to the complainant
- Maintain a safe campus environment
Punishment for Misconduct
If any person is found guilty of sexual harassment, strict action will be taken as per law, which may include:
- Warning or written apology
- Suspension or termination from college
- Cancellation of admission (for students)
- Legal action under Government of India laws
