Code of Conduct for Students

At Kota College of Pharmacy, students are expected to maintain discipline, professionalism, and respect towards the institution, faculty members, staff, and fellow students. The college believes in creating a positive and healthy academic environment that supports learning, personal growth, and professional development.

 

General Rules and Discipline

  • Students must attend classes, practical, seminars, and academic activities regularly and maintain the required attendance.
  • Students should always behave respectfully with faculty members, staff, visitors, and fellow students inside and outside the campus.
  • Maintaining discipline, punctuality, and professional behaviour is compulsory for all students.
  • Students must wear proper uniform, lab coat, and identity card as prescribed by the college during academic hours.
  • Use of unfair means during examinations, assignments, or academic activities is strictly prohibited.

 

Campus Behaviour

  • Students should help maintain cleanliness, safety, and a peaceful environment within the campus.
  • Damage to college property, laboratory equipment, library resources, or any institutional facilities is strictly prohibited.
  • Mobile phones should be used responsibly and should not disturb classroom teaching or practical sessions.
  • Smoking, alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and any harmful activities are strictly prohibited inside the college campus.

 

Professional Ethics

  • Students should maintain honesty, integrity, and ethical values in academic and professional activities.
  • Pharmacy students are expected to develop responsible behaviour as future healthcare professionals.
  • Students should actively participate in academic, research, cultural, and professional development activities organized by the college.

 

Anti-Ragging Policy

  • The college follows a strict anti-ragging policy as per government and regulatory guidelines.
  • Any form of ragging, harassment, bullying, or misconduct with junior students is strictly prohibited and may lead to strict disciplinary action.

 

Library and Laboratory Rules

  • Silence and discipline must be maintained in the library and laboratories.
  • Students should handle books, chemicals, instruments, and laboratory equipment carefully and responsibly.
  • Safety instructions provided by faculty members and laboratory staff must always be followed during practical sessions.

 

Attendance and Leave

  • Students must maintain regular attendance as per university and college norms.
  • Leave applications should be submitted to the concerned authority whenever required.
